Description
The Junkers D.1 was a late war monoplane fighter developed as a private venture by the firm of Junkers towards the end of WW1. It was significant in that it was the first all metal fighter aircraft in the world to see active service. Only a handful were manufactured before the war ended, but its metal design paved the way for modern aircraft for the next 100 years. Our 1/30 scale model comes in an attractive camouflage colour scheme and is also supplied with a free figure subject to availability.
The normal retail price for this model is $399 plus $100 postage and this is reflected in the website banner price.
